Today entire country is under lock down, many are finding difficulties to earn their daily food. But not these fraudsters. They are busy looking for new new stories to deceive people. yesterday they tried to get me into their new trap. Not from any bank or Credit card agency. This time they came in Naukri uniform. I have written down the conversation as it happened.
Fraudster : Sir we are calling from Naukri. How is your paid service is going on?
Me: Yeah, I am getting the requirement mails but due to this lock-down, things are not moving. Your services are actually not serving its purpose.
Fraudster : I understand your concern. That’s the reason we are reaching out everyone who use our service.
Me: I appreciate that. It would be great if you pause this service for 15 days and then resume after the lockdown.
Fraudster: Sorry sir. We can’t pause the services but I can arrange the refund to you. For this you need to deactivate your Naukri profile and then you need to register back. In future if you want to take our service, you can activate it with fresh payment.
Me : That’s more than I expected. I am Ok with this offer.
Fraudster: Sir, I will send you a link for deactivation of the profile to your registered mobile number and then with in 3-4 hours you will get the money back.
Me: Ok.
Fraudster: Due to lock down, we are doing work from home. So we are using our personal numbers for everything. I am sending this link from this number itself. Please let me know once you get this. I will guide through the procedure.
Me: OK.
I received the link and I opened it from my laptop.

Fraudster: Sir, Please click on register.

By this time I was starting to get suspicious. The main reason for that is the poor design of the web page. It did not look professional. But she started to spell out my name, mobile number everything. That made me believe these things again.
Me: Why I need to register again? What kind of service it is.
Fraudster: Sir, this is Naukri refund login. This is independent of regular login. For any refund issues, one need to register here itself. It is the protocol we follow here.
Me : Ok.
At this moment she started to spell my name and email id. Hence I started to enter my details. So registration was done and that took me to below page.

Fraudster: Which mode of transaction you used while paying?
Me: Credit card.
Fraudster:Please enter the details of your credit card. It must be the same one which you used before.
Me: for refund, why you need my card details.
Fraudster : This is for the verification sir.
Me: Can I call you after sometime?
Fraudster: What happened?
Me: I am searching for my card. I need some time.
Fraudster: You search the card, I will be on call. No issues.
Me: Ok.
At this time I disconnected the call and contacted an agent from Naukri whom I met while activating this service. I explained her what just happened. She told me, it’s a fraud call and please stay away from them. Meantime I also started to search about this fraud in google. I also searched that number in Truecaller. Below are the screenshot of the search.

After few min the fraudster called me back.
Fraudster: Sir, What happened?
Me: I understood it’s a Fraud call. Why you guys are doing such thing at the time of lockdown? Don’t you feel shame?
Fraudster: What nonsense you are speaking? I am not here to cheat anyone. I work for Naukri.com What is your doubt? I will clear it.
Me: Nothing, I am gonna report this to Naukri. I will also post this in Social media. You must be punished.
*** She disconnected the call. ***
Well, I was correct. It was a fraud call. They would take all my card details with OTP in one fake call and website.
Guys,
Please be careful about such scammers. Never share your Card details to anyone. Always search such numbers in True caller, Google etc. Always look at the quality of their websites and URL of such websites. Please share this to as many as possible. Let this reach everyone. It may help someone somewhere.
Thank you…

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
